- Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Professionals: Experts responsible for overseeing and implementing health and safety policies within the organisation.
- Managers and Supervisors: Individuals who manage teams and are responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.
- Human Resources Practitioners: who have health and safety responsibilities such as creating health and safety related policies and procedures, including conducing Pregnancy Risk Assessments and Psychosocial Risk Assessments
- Facility Managers: Those in charge of maintaining the physical workplace and ensuring it meets safety standards
- Safety Representatives: Designated employees who represent the workforce in health and safety matters and help promote a culture of safety who may also be required to conduct or review Risk Assessments
- Employees: Any staff members who are involved in or affected by health and safety practices, to promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance.

Programme Facilitator
Jo Leddy
Jo is a highly motivated, experienced OSH & Wellbeing professional. She worked as an Occupational Health & Wellbeing Lead and OSH manager in multi-national manufacturing industries for over 25 years.
Jo is an experienced lecturer and tutor in Safety, Health and Welfare at Work in UCD, NISO and Ibec Academy. Jo has been lecturing/tutoring at all levels on the SHWW programmes in UCD including the Masters in SHWW for the past twenty years. Jo designed the Ibec Academy Wellbeing Programme and has been delivering this workshop face-to-face and online for the past 5 years.
She holds an MSc SHWW (UCD); BNS (DCU); Pg Cert in Health Promotion &Workplace Wellness (NUIG); Diploma in Management and Industrial Relations (NCI); Diploma in Mediation Studies (UCD). Jo is a chartered member of IOSH.

Darrell Fernandes
Darrell, a qualified electrician and electronics service technician, is an Ibec Academy trainer with extensive knowledge in the areas of Occupational Safety and Health Management, Emergency Management, Crisis Management, Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Planning, Management Systems Development, Coaching and Mentoring, Facilitation and Communication Skills.
He also worked as an instructor and member of the Defence Force’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) incident response panel and was a regular contributing columnist for the Health and Safety Review providing expert insight and analysis regarding all aspects of Occupational Safety and Health Management.
