Summary
This programme introduces managers to techniques to identify and develop strategies for their organisations and plan for change with the option of post course tutor support.
At the end of the programme participants will:
- Use appropriate tools and techniques to evaluate both the external and internal environment and resource capabilities in order to formulate strategic options
- Understand how to conduct a review of their organisations strategic options
- Be able to apply a methodology to deploy strategy effectively
- Assess and plan for the impact of change
This programme is for:
Senior managers in organisations, as well as business owners who wish to gain an understanding of how to develop and implement strategy in their organisations.
Approach
This workshop will be highly interactive with the use of practical exercises to ensure a high degree of participation and self-learning. A flexible approach will be used throughout and priority will be given to the interests and learning of the group.

Olive is an experienced, innovative and successful organisational development consultant in Ibec with experience in a wide variety of public, private and third sector organisations in Ireland, Europe, Africa and India. Her industry experience ranges from food manufacturing, to retail and NGO sectors.
Olive’s key skills include leadership, designing organisational development solutions, HRM and HRD auditing and evaluation. She is an excellent coach with a focus on skills, behaviours, motivations and long-term career and succession planning.
